Question 1

Are California rebates available for tankless water heaters?

Accepted Answer

Some qualifying tankless systems may be eligible for current California gas utility incentive programs. Availability and eligibility change, so we discuss current opportunities during your estimate.

Question 2

Does every tankless water heater qualify?

Accepted Answer

No. Eligibility depends on the specific program, equipment, efficiency level, and current rules. We check whether a system may qualify before counting on an incentive.

Question 3

Do all homeowners qualify?

Accepted Answer

No. Some programs have customer, property, or utility requirements. Eligibility is confirmed per situation using current program rules.

Question 4

Can rebate programs change?

Accepted Answer

Yes — programs, qualifying equipment, eligibility requirements, and available amounts can change, and funding can run out. Final eligibility should always be confirmed using current program rules.

Question 5

Does Rinnai equipment qualify?

Accepted Answer

Some qualifying Rinnai tankless systems may be eligible for current programs, but not every Rinnai model qualifies. We check eligibility against current program requirements during your estimate.

Question 6

How can I check whether a system is eligible?

Accepted Answer

Tell us what you're considering. We review the equipment against current program rules and let you know what may apply — without promising an incentive we can't verify.

Question 7

Can I request an estimate before confirming a rebate?

Accepted Answer

Yes. A free estimate is the right first step. We review the upgrade and current incentive options together rather than assuming a rebate applies.
